I wish I had a easy way to rank well on the first page of the Search Engines

Loving the way you see other website on the first page of Google? The question is why my site is not ranking well? I have so many websites out there that need some good Seo attention but I don’t know where to start. Maybe I could buy backlinks or something but I’m not really sure that would help either.
